My little brother just discovered R‘n’R …

… or music weblogs. I’ve been roaming the web looking for music for quite some time now and I must say, the amount of wonderful - but up till then - unknown music that I discovered this way, is really tremendous. Some names keep reappearing on different sites and they made their way to other media like radio and music magazines by now. Among them these 3 bands who came to ‘stardom’ partly or mainly through support on the internet. They all play what you could call Rock but with a fresh approach that is deeply rooted in music history. One can hear the fifties, sixties garage or folk, passing by but also punk and new wave or more likely all of this together.
