The late Andy Palacio´s master piece Wátina became in 2007 one of the most critically acclaimed recordings of the year. Palacio died in 2008 but thanks to the international success of Wátina there’s a revival of Garifuna music among new generations, in Belize and around the world.

Derrick May ripped I Want It To Be Real entirely for Simply Just A Ventage under the moniker Incogdo, later banned because of this.
